Website Design & Development Prices
We are often asked "How much is a website?" – to which the answer is, "It depends what you mean by a website." If there was such a thing as an 'average' website, it wouldn't help your business much, anyway. However, there are common types of website, so we have created a few example packages to reflect this, assuming the simplest of requirements.
For more flexibility than these website packages imply, please contact us for a detailed quotation. We build websites on a 50% deposit, balance on completion basis. There are no hidden costs – if adjustments or unpredictable costs arise during development, we'll check them with you before proceeding.
All of the prices below include a year's free web hosting and a .co.uk domain name. Prices also assume a free website template – bespoke design options require a more detailed quotation. We do not currently charge VAT. All prices shown are correct as of 14/05/2010.

e-Commerce Sites
Static websites have a fixed number of pages, each normally including up to 1000 words and 3 images. Common pages include a Home page, an About Us page, Product/Services pages and a Contact page; those engaging in simple e-Commerce should also consider Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy pages. A simple contact form can be included for free if required; adding customised forms, slideshows and other interactive elements will increase costs but can be effective in engaging site visitors with your content. We keep our prices for basic static web pages simple: just £60 per page.
Dynamic websites offer great value for money – you can update them yourself, and you don't have to pay for every new page. The basic page types are generally built-in, all you really have to do is provide the content and decide how you want it configured and styled. We can build you a blog from £400, a forum from £600, or a full CMS from £800.
We can add basic e-Commerce facilities to an existing site from as low as £20, and offer full e-shop packages from just £700. A full SSL-secured e-shop can be provided from just £900.
